About the Founder

Candace Jefferson LPN, Founder and CEO

I graduated from Everest Institute with 20+ years of experience in the healthcare industry in geriatric, pediatric, mental illness, vent dependence, TBI, spinal cord injury and catastrophic cases. With all the years of experience in different areas of providing care, I seen first hand but didn't get the feeling of the lack of compassion and empathy until I became a patient. I've always showed compassion in my job performance. " I love what I do". I love what I do because I'm passionate about life. The fact that we are born into sin and have to suffer saddens me. In my life I've came close to death on four different occasions and hospitalized each time. I've experienced care from some that showed no empathy and some caregivers that was great and I surely appreciate the great ones. Since I can't do anything about sin, I can perform good works to help people. I believe that we need compassionate, empathetic people in the healthcare industry because when our health and life is compromised that's when we need someone who's going to be there for us to help us go through the journey of healing during our challenging and most frightful time. My goal is to provide loving care through my caregivers by strategically hiring only caregivers that exhibits and embodies compassion and empathy for what they do.
